Gev Solo

Biography Gev Solo (Gevorg Soloyan) was born in Yerevan, Armenia. His experience in art began at the age of 14, when his painting won first place in competition and was chosen for an exhibition in Prague. He studied Architecture and Environmental Design, specializing in Architectural Heritage and Archeology, while still maintaining his interest in the arts. His first collective exhibition took place in Lyon, France, in 2011. He has organized several exhibitions, including an individual exhibition at the Cultural Armenian House in Villeurbanne, “Heritage 6th” as part of the European Heritage Days 2015, and his fifth solo exhibition at the G Restaurant, 1st arrondissement of Lyon, presenting large paintings inspired by “dripping style.” He participated in the “Parcours des Bleus” exhibition of 15 artists organized by the Mayor of the 6th of Lyon in 2016, and in 2017 was chosen by City Hall for an exhibition dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the 6th arrondissement of Lyon. He currently lives in Los Angeles and continues to teach drawing classes and create art.
