Biography Gev Solo ( Gevorg Soloyan) was born in Yerevan, Armenia, on November 11, 1989. Since a very young age, he has been interested in visual arts. At the age of 14, he entered the special painting school where he won his first competition: his painting was chosen for an exhibition in Prague. He graduated in 2010 with a bachelor's degree specialized in Architecture and Environmental Design. For love of France, he moved to Lyon where he continued his studies in architecture at the National School of Architecture of Lyon, master 1. He then moved to the specialties of architectural heritage and archeology, master 2 at the University Lumière Lyon 2 (double master). His first collective exhibition took place in Lyon in 2011 during an Art Market. In September 2014, Gev Solo organized his first individual exhibition at the Cultural Armenian House in Villeurbanne with forty guests. In parallel, he teaches drawing classes. As part of the European Heritage Days 2015, he conceptualized and realized an exhibition entitled "Heritage 6th" at the City Hall of the 6th arrondissement of Lyon, attracting a hundred visitors. In June 2016, he participated in the "Parcours des Bleus" exhibition of 15 artists organized by the Mayor of the 6th of Lyon. In October 2016, he made his 5th solo exhibition at the G Restaurant, 1st arrondissement of Lyon, presenting large paintings (180 x 90 cm) inspired by "dripping style". In June 2017 he is chosen with 10 other artists Lyons by the City Hall for an exhibition dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the 6th arrondissement of Lyon.
